How to celebrate July 4th near Hiram, GA

What events and activities are taking place near Hiram, GA this Independence Day? Just ten minutes away, in Powder Springs, a fireworks show is planned. City of Marietta 4th in the Park 2022 

If you’re ready to celebrate all day, head to Marietta for their 4th in the Park celebration. It starts out at 10 AM with a parade. After that, you can enjoy a live concert at noon, a bell ringing ceremony at 2, another concert at 7 and a firework show when it gets dark. On top of those events, a festival will be running all day with arts and crafts, kids’ events, food, and more. You’ll want to plan on arriving early and leaving late, as the parade and fireworks, on opposite ends of the day, are the main events. The parade draws in an estimated 30,000 people. Don’t forget to bring some chairs, snacks, and sunscreen for your fun day under the sun.  

Powder Springs 4th of July Celebration 

If you’d rather just celebrate in the evening, head to this closer event in Powder Springs. This celebration features the most traditional aspects of an Independence Day celebration: food, fun, and fireworks. There will be live music, vendors, and more. Attending the event is free, and the vendors and entertainment will begin at 6 PM, with some starting an hour earlier. No outside alcohol is allowed inside the entertainment district, but you may bring your own cooler for other beverages and snacks. No tobacco use is permitted within the park.
