Is the 2022 Jeep Wrangler a fully electric vehicle? 

The 2022 Jeep Wrangler is the industry’s first electrified open-air SUV. However, this model is a PHEV, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. As a PHEV, it is not a 100% electric vehicle. It can run on electric power alone only for limited distances, about 49 miles as estimated by the manufacturer. The rest of the time, it will use a combination or electric and gas power or just gas power.

What fully electric Jeep vehicles are coming out?  

Right now, we’re keeping our eye on two fully electric Jeep vehicles headed our way. The first is the Jeep Recon, a model which is designed for adventure. It is 100% electric and should arrive in the US around 2024. It features classic Jeep design cues, and we’re sure it’s going to be a huge hit with drivers once it arrives at dealerships. 

The other fully electric Jeep vehicle is called the Jeep Wagoneer “S”. It is designed as a premium vehicle with luxury features. Like the other model, it should arrive at US dealerships in 2024 if everything goes as planned. We think this model will be popular with luxury vehicle drivers and anyone who likes a blend of premium features and powerful specifications.
